It's getting closer!!!!

It's all starting to come together. Tilers were here today tiling the downstairs living/kitchen/dining area and the kitchen splash back. Timber flooring should be happening soon.

In the past week a few things have been happened

Electrical fitout (light switches, power points, data, down lights)
Airconditioning unit
Bath and taps installed for bathrooms, laundry and kitchen
Sink installed
Cupboard fitouts

Stairs have been stained but not happy with the finish. Seems like they will do another coat however still trying to get information from our supervisor whether they will be using a semi gloss or gloss. At the moment the timber looks really grainy and there seems to have been a mixup with Home Option Gallery. We requested a gloss finish like our front door and they noted on the colour selection sheet semi gloss.

Also waiting for our shower screens which have been ordered but somehow are not onsite.

I will try to take some photos in the next few days as we are now getting quotes for timber shutters, blinds, landscaping and pool. Hope we don't blow our budget. Not look forward to our blind/shutter cost and the landscaping quote was quite a shock!!!! The landscaping quote included coping around the pool (thinking of travertine pavers 400x400), retaining wall (which apparently will go all the way to the back of the fence), colour concrete around the pool area and to the alfresco area. Thinking of getting our alfresco paved in the same travertine pavers as the coping, or possibly going back to Di Lorenzo and see if they have an external tile to match our indoor Stone Smooth tile. The landscaper will also use some of the fill from the pool for the side of the house and level out the back ready for turf laying later.

The pool is from Barrier Reef Pools - Sahara pool 7.4m x 3.4m .

The colour will be electric grey as shown below

NOW THE BIG QUESTION. Where are going to getting the keys? The is the one answer our Supervisor does not want to give me yet!
